Do not measure the head.
Measure from one side to the other for the width.
Measure right under the head (the neck) to the rear.
You will want to get the size colsest to fit your dog.
allow a couple of inches so the dog will have some room.
Example if your dog measures 14" from under the neck to the
rear, you will want to order the next large size.
